Somebody please tell me how to get past level 1! I keep seeing other posts about level 14 and these unbelievable scores - I think the highest I ever got was 6500. What am I doing wrong!!

Start at the bottom and score a line on every tile to move up each level. Practice will teach you the patterns for each letter

I can't get past level 1 either no matter how many points. Perhaps a glitch? I would be interested in the dates, rather, exactly when others have made the second level and above on the board.
