In the ancient version of Snakes and Ladders there were moral meanings in the spaces. You reach a space which indicates that you are doing good things, then you get to climb a ladder and get good results. If you reach a space with bad things, then you fall down a snake and get bad results. In this case if you reach the "drugs" space, then you fall down the snake and get "death".
