So what can you do with the points? Next to the star (under my name) I have a number followed by / and another number. Under that is a different symbol (circle?) and another number. I can't find any explanation of these numbers. Can somebody help a newbie?

47 stars is your mastery level, it is the total amount of stars on all the games. Each game has a mastery of up to 5 stars. 2430 is the total amount of mastery stars on @Novel Games, that is, the amount of single player games multiplied by five. Below the mastery stars is the amount of coins, which can be spent on power-ups.
